The BTC Alliance holds fast to these core principles:
- Respect & Ethics-Fair play be the code of the seas. Treat all hands, ally or foe, with honour and dignity.
- Freedom of Play-No sailor is bound to specific hours aboard the ship. Yet beware, if ye rarely set foot on deck, you may be dropped for inactivity. (Long voyages away? Inform an R4 officer afore you go.)
- Team Spirit-The preferred way be together, as no lone sailor conquers the storm.
- Relaxation-The ultimate treasure be good times shared with fine mates.
Code of Conduct in the Game
- Show respect to all players—be they shipmates or rivals. The game be a place for camaraderie and friendly competition, not bitterness and bile.
- If trouble brews, seek the wise counsel of your crew instead of stirring up a mutiny.
- Cease your constant bellyaching—it fouls the air.
- Extend a hand to new recruits; train ‘em well and make ‘em feel welcome.
- Keep your ears open to others and contribute to the spirit of the alliance.
- Take part in alliance events and prove your mettle.
Maturity and Trial Period
BTC expects a certain level of maturity aboard its ship. Thus, new recruits shall embark on a trial voyage of 1–2 weeks. During this time, ye’ll be judged on yer:
- Maturity,
- Cheerfulness,
- Participation in alliance life,
- And your willingness to play as part of a crew.
Communication and Language
- Respect all players, and remember—insults and vile remarks have no place aboard this ship or beyond it.
- Trolling in general chat is frowned upon. It blackens your name and stains the alliance’s flag. No one wants to sail with a troublemaker.
Alliance Donations and VS
Donations and Versus (VS) battles be crucial for both the alliance’s growth and your own. Give generously and fight fiercely! Should you need guidance in the ways of VS, our officers stand ready to lend a hand. Together, we rise to glory!
